PETA Asia's investigation into the badger-hair industry for makeup, shaving, and paint brushes revealed hellish living conditions, including being confined to cramped wire cages exposed to the elements and often suffering from severe, untreated injuries and psychological disorders. Workers beat crying badgers over the head with anything they could find, including a chair leg, and then slit their throats. One badger's leg had even been bitten off by another badger in a nearby cage.

After PETA shared the video footage with Procter & Gamble, which owns The Art of Shaving, it made the compassionate decision to stop buying badger hair immediately and end its sales of badger-hair shaving brushes. Given that your company already offers so many animal-friendly synthetic options, I urge you to drop badger-hair brushes immediately.

Please, think of inquisitive badgers, who, like all animals, feel pain and fear, and make the compassionate decision to stop selling badger-hair brushes today. Thank you for your time and consideration.
